The saxon band LisaWars finally return after almost 3 years, in which they only released the singles "Wo warst du?" and "Die Angst in deinen Augen", with their new longplayer "Nichts". Started in the year 2002, Jens (Keys, Synths) and Micha (Guitar, Vocals) play their very own vision of gloomy music. Far off of blinkers LisaWars mixes a cocktail consisting of New Wave, Goth and Punk. Bizarre german lyrics, that partly remind at classics such as Grauzone or Die Art, a minimalistic instrumentation in style of the early Neuen Deutschen Welle (NDW - German New Wave) and a deep glance into the depths of human civilisation emboss the songs of the band. These become a ray of hope on the german New Wave sky with a good pinch of Synths, floating guitar lines and memorable hooks.
